This will be an elegant affair in the home of Artistic and Executive Director of the Dixon Theatre, Tim Boles, who has his own beautiful little recital hall. I played a concert here years ago and it’s one of my favorite places to perform. Excellent acoustics and a gorgeous Steinway grand. I wrote about this experience in my memoir, Swinger! A Jazz Girl’s Adventures From Hollywood to Harlem. Champagne, delicious goodies and a fun opportunity to hang out together, as this will be a very small group. Fun party attire. Chicago guitarist Andy Brown will be with me. Yea!
