Loved being in Nice a few days ago and visiting the site of my first big jazz festival in Europe. My concerts were held in some Roman ruins above the city. I’m standing where the audience was facing where I was on the stage for the festival, which was elevated above the crowd, reversing what would have been the Romans watching the entertainment below!

There were various spots along the beach promenade selling fabulous looking candy.
